Che Halin Mohd Hashim

Managing Director of CIMA

Che Halin Mohd Hashim is the Managing Director of CIMA since 3 July 2006. He graduated as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Leeds, Yorkshire, United Kingdom and holds a Master in Business Administration from Ohio University, USA.

He began his career with United Engineers (Malaysia) Berhad Group in 1997 as Senior General Manager in Corporate Services of Time Engineering Berhad. Upon completion of the acquisition of Time Reach Sdn Bhd in the same year from Sapura Holdings Sdn Bhd, he was made the Chief Operating Officer of Time Reach Sdn Bhd. In 1998, he was appointed as Project Director of TIME Telekom Holdings Berhad and subsequently as Director in Business Support Services of TT dotCom Sdn Bhd. In 1999, he was appointed as Director in Regulatory for TIME dotCom Berhad.

Prior to joining the United Engineers (Malaysia) Berhad group of companies in 1997, he has vast experience in the banking and insurance industry through his services in MIDF Berhad, Affin Merchant Bank Berhad and Sime AXA Assurance Berhad. In 2002, he was enthrusted to return to TIME Reach Sdn Bhd as its Chief Operating Officer, a position he has held until his transfer to CIMA Group of Companies.

Mohd Yusof A. Rahman

Senior General Manager, Readymixed and Downstream Operations Division, CIMA

Mohd Yusof A. Rahman, 53, is the Senior General Manager, PSN. Highest qualification achieved was an Advanced Diploma Part 1 & 3 Institute of Marketing (UK). Joined Cement Industries Malaysia on 17th May 1980 as Marketing Executive based in Kota Bharu responsible for Sales and Distribution. He was seconded to Cimaco Readymix Sdn Bhd from August 1983 until March 1985.

On April 1985, he was promoted to Senior Sales Executive to take charge of sales in Central and Southern regions. He was later transferred to Pemasaran Simen Negara Sdn Bhd on the 1st August 1985. On September 1990, he was promoted to Area Sales Manager for Central and Southern regions and then promoted to Sales Manager on 1st January 1994.

On 1st May 1996, he was promoted to General Manager of PSN before he was seconded to Negeri Sembilan Cement Industries Malaysia Sdn Bhd on 1st September 1997.

His current responsibilities include the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts and to perform financial analysis on company performance and to ensure accuracy of accounting information and payroll.

George DeCruz

Senior General Manager (Plant) NSCI Bahau

Holds a Honors degree in Chemical Engineering from University Malaya 1978 - 1983 and Degree Master of Science (Management) from UUM, 1994 - 1997 and has been awarded Vice Chancellor's Gold Medal. He is a qualified Production Engineer-In-Charge for the last 20 years in the Production field. He joined CIMA as Assistant Engineer in August 1983 since his graduation until now and on 18th January 2004 he was given the responsibility to head the NSCI Bahau Plant as Acting Plant Manager. He was promoted to Senior General Manager, Plant in 2005.

Chow Kian Chong

General Manager (Plant), Perlis Plant

Age 50 years old and graduated with Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Portsmouth Polytechnic, England. Joined CIMA on 16 September 1980 as Mechanical Engineer with 26 years service. He assumed the position of Plant Manager, commencing from 1st Oct 2006.

Chee Koon Yoong

Director/Senior General Manager of Unipati Concrete Sdn Bhd

Age 48 years old, a civil Engineer by training, he has more than 20 years of experiences in the construction and related industry. Apart from his experience in the construction of highways and building works, he has also been involved in the development and operations of quarries premix plants, precast concrete, reinforced earth wall etc. His previous position was as Senior General Manager, Plant and Materials Division of UEM Builders Berhad..
